This integration is strictly used for internal business operations to enhance document management efficiency and provide redundancy for company records.
2. Data We Access (Google API Scopes) Our application requests the following specific permissions:
- Google Drive (drive.file): This allows our Odoo ERP to create, edit, and manage only the specific files and folders that were created by the Odoo system. We do not have access to, nor do we interact with, your unrelated personal files in Google Drive.
- Basic Profile Information: We access your Google email address solely to identify the account and maintain a secure OAuth2 connection.
3. Purpose of Data Processing We use the Google Drive API for the following business-critical functions:
- Automated Storage: Automatically offloading system-generated attachments (such as Quotations, Sales Orders, and Invoices) from our Odoo ERP to a designated Google Drive folder.
- Operational Efficiency: Utilizing Google Drive as a primary repository for business records to ensure high availability and ease of access for our internal team.
- Data Mirroring: Ensuring that critical company documents are backed up in a secure cloud environment outside of the primary ERP server.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure iWesabe Technologies does not sell, trade, or share your Google user data with any third parties. Data remains strictly within the iWesabe Technologies ecosystem and your own Google Drive storage.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Google OAuth tokens are stored securely within our Odoo instance and are used only while the integration is active. You may revoke access at any time via your Google Account Security settings.
