In Odoo, we can manually reset the password in two ways. The first method is by sending a reset password link to the user's email and the second one is by using the change password option.
To reset the password of a user by sending a mail, go to settings and select Users & Companies menu.
From the above screen select the Users menu and select the user whose password is to reset.
From the user profile screen, click Sent Reset Password Instructions button to send the password reset link.
After clicking the Send button, Odoo will send a password reset link to user’s login email address. This link you can see also under the status bar.

Click the Change password from the mail, now you can see a screen for changing the password.
Add your new password and click the Confirm button.
To reset the password using the change password option, select Change Password under the Action dropdown menu from the user profile screen.
Now you can see a popup, this will help you to change the password. Add your new password and click the Change Password button.
